The meeting will provide an update on the Fire Response Study prepared for the proposed project along the segment of Racquet Club Road / Farrell Drive between North Palm Canyon Drive and Via Escuela.

WHAT IS ROAD RECONFIGURATION?

A redefining of lanes to accommodate all modes of transportation including vehicles, buses, bicycles, and pedestrians. Road reconfigurations have proven to decrease speeds and enhance safety.

SOUTH PALM CANYON DRIVE RECONFIGURATION: Currently in the 90% design phase.

RACQUET CLUB ROAD RECONFIGURATION: Currently under review. The Project Team developed a fire response study to analyze response times with the proposed concept. A Community meeting with an in-person and virtual attendance option has been scheduled for September 17. For details, please see the top of this page under the Upcoming Community Meeting heading. We hope you are able to join us.

LITTLE TUSCANY NEIGHBORHOOD TRAFFIC CALMING PROJECT: Currently under review based on new information released from the Office of the State Fire Marshal. This information includes updated Fire Hazard Severity Zones.
