NEIGHBORHOODS OF DISTINCTION
The Neighborhoods of Distinction Awards is an annual awards event created to recognize neighbors, businesses and/or individuals for activities that have improved their Neighborhoods in Palm Springs.
All nominations for an award are submitted by the Neighborhood Organization or a NOrg representative. Award-eligible parties are individuals or businesses within the Neighborhood, or the NOrg itself.
The 2025 deadline for nominations is November 13th, with the Awards being presented on December 9th at the ONE-PS Membership meeting.

When completed, please email to: palmspringsneighborhoods@gmail.com OR bring with you to the Nov. 13 ONE-PS Membership meeting and give to board members Ned Barker, Chris Ruetz or Kate Castle.
ONE-PS TO HOST HISTORICAL WALKING TOUR DURING MODERNISM WEEK - OCTOBER
"Iconic Palm Springs" a walking tour highlighting several sites of historical, cultural, architectural and social significance in the downtown area, will take place during Modernism Week - October on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025.
Featured sites include Welwood Murray Memorial Library, La Plaza Center including the upstairs women’s and men’s Lodges, Plaza Theatre, O’Donnell Golf Club, American Legion Post 519, Temple Isaiah and the Welwood Murray Cemetery.
