Just in time for summer, the Downtown Park Splash Pad is officially back open in Palm Springs!


Families joined City leaders on the afternoon of May 26 to celebrate the reopening with plenty of smiles, laughter, and of course... lots of splashing. The event featured remarks from City Manager Scott Stiles, Mayor Naomi Soto, and Parks and Recreation Director Nicholas Gonzalez as the community welcomed what is sure to be one of Downtown’s favorite warm-weather gathering spots.


From excited kids racing through the fountains to families cooling off under the desert sun, today was a perfect reminder that summer in Palm Springs has officially arrived.
The Splash Pad is now open and ready to help everyone stay cool all season long. Grab the sunscreen, pack the towels, and come make a splash!
