Palm Springs Santa Paws 5K Run/Walk & Elf Dash
8:30 a.m., 332 W. Alejo Road
This one-of-a-kind 5K event where every participant can be Santa Claus! Each participant receives a Santa suit that can be worn during the event and is then yours for keep!
All participants run, walk or stroll the 5K (3.1mile) route. Strollers and doggies are welcome!
Following the 5K, we offer a 200 meter Elf Dash for children 10 and under. Entry for the kids' event is $15 and includes a finisher medal!
Everyone is welcome! Runners, walkers, strollers, doggies - come one - come all for a great morning filled with holiday cheer and lots of Ho! Ho! Ho's!

Art in the Park in the Dark
What: Art in the Park in the Dark NYE 2024
When: December 31, 2024, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Where: Demuth Park, Palm Springs, CA (Mesquite Avenue at Calle Santa Cruz)
Details: Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Art in the Park in the Dark, a free, all-ages event that transforms Demuth Park into a glowing spectacle of interactive art and light. Attendees can enjoy captivating laser shows, the illuminated Glow and Go Parade at 7:00 p.m. and exploring the Night Gallery Art Walk. Highlights include the Desert Flaggers' blacklight silk-spinning, light installations, and music all night. The first 200 guests will receive free blacklight flashlights to uncover hidden art in the park. The evening concludes at 8:45 p.m. with a sound bath, a final laser show and a big Video Countdown full of Coachella Valley 2024 Images.

Art in the Park in the Dark is a free, annual event for all-ages held at Demuth Park in Palm Springs, featuring an exciting blend of interactive art, laser light shows, illuminated bike parades, and live performances. Created to foster creativity and community engagement, the event transforms the park into a glowing wonderland where adults and kids can explore art installations, participate in hands-on activities, and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere under the stars. Founded by comedian Shann Carr with support from the City of Palm Springs, Art in the Park in the Dark celebrates the power of light, art, and togetherness in a fun and inclusive environment.
