Holiday Lighting of the Palm Springs Visitor Center

Oh, What Fun! Holiday Lighting of the Palm Springs Visitor Center, Friday, November 28, 4:30 p.m. The Visitor Center is at 2901 N. Palm Canyon Drive.


The Palm Springs Visitor Center, the city’s iconic mid-century gateway, will sparkle for the first time this season with vintage-style Tru-Tone lights. Join The Ambassador of Americana, Charles Phoenix, as he flips the switch and ushers in the holidays in true retro style. 


A bright moment of holiday magic… illuminated with hundreds of lights, powered by just one plug!

Art in the Park in the Dark


This FUN FREE event fills the skies and trees with lasers and Demuth Park with black lights and neon on Nov. 29th from 5-9pm in Demuth park.

City of Palm Springs Holiday Tree Lighting


The City of Palm Springs Holiday Banner Awards begin at 4 pm. Join Main Street Palm Springs along with the Mayor and City Council for the presentation of the annual Holiday Banner Awards to local student artists from Palm Springs Unified School District.

Then, join the Palm Springs City Councilmembers and Santa Claus to light up the City’s stunning 22-foot Holiday Tree at 5:15 p.m. in Frances Stevens Park. The evening includes a meet-and-greet with Santa, free cookies and cocoa, as well as arts and crafts for the little ones. 

Before the tree lighting Join Main Street Palm Springs along with the Mayor and City Council at 4:00 pm for the presentation of the annual Holiday Banner Awards to local student artists from Palm Springs Unified School District. Free cookies and hot cocoa will be on hand.

Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade


5:45 p.m.

The parade takes place on Palm Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs. It begins at Ramon Road and Palm Canyon Drive and heads northbound on Palm Canyon Drive to Tachevah Road where it ends.

Palm Springs Small Hotels Walk of the Inns


Free, self-guided walking tour celebrates Palm Springs Hospitality - Thursday, December 11th at 4:00 PM

One night each winter, several distinctive boutique hotels in Palm Springs open their doors to welcome all visitors. This year, it’s on Thursday, December 11th. Pick up your map at the Palm Springs Art Museum at 4:00PM.

This annual family and dog-friendly event is a free, self-guided walking tour and a fun way to get to know the eclectic hotel properties in the neighborhoods between Ramon Road and Tahquitz Canyon Way.

All proceeds from Jingle Paws benefit Guide Dogs of the Desert, supporting programs that enhance mobility, independence, and quality of life for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

Guide Dogs of the Desert Keeps the Holiday Spirit Alive with Jingle Paws 

Guide Dogs of the Desert is proud to continue a beloved local tradition with the return of Jingle Paws, formerly known as Santa Paws. This festive, family friendly holiday event invites the community to celebrate the season while supporting a meaningful cause.

Participants are encouraged to walk or run in Santa suits and bring their family, friends, and four-legged companions for a joyful Saturday morning. The event will include vendor booths, awards, children’s activities—including a special Elf Dash—and plenty of opportunities for festive holiday photos.
