Modernism Week 2026
Modernism Week’s signature February festival takes place February 12-22, 2026, highlighting midcentury modern architecture, art, interior design, landscape design, and vintage culture in the Palm Springs area of Southern California. The annual 11-day festival will feature more than 400 tours, programs and events. All activities are open to the public. A portion of ticket proceeds benefit Modernism Week (a non-profit organization) and other local preservation, neighborhood, and community groups.

Location: Fire Station 1, 277 N. Indian Canyon Road
Join PSFD Chief Paul Alvarado and fire department personnel for a guided tour of the historic 1955 fire station, designed by renowned architects Albert Frey and Robson C. Chambers. Learn about the station’s significance, and hear about plans for a new facility on adjacent parcels that will expand crew quarters and apparatus bays to better serve the community.
