Meet at 7 a.m. at the Marilyn statue in the Downtown Park.

Members of the community will meet PSPD Officers at the Forever Marilyn statue at 7 AM where they will be given a short class on pedestrian safety and then break out in small walking groups and go on a walk with an officer.

Join the Palm Springs Police Department on Saturday, September 26, for a behind-the-scenes look at how our Real Time Intelligence Center (RTIC) supports public safety while incorporating safeguards for privacy, accountability, and appropriate use of technology. 

During the session, you’ll receive a guided tour, see live demonstrations of some of the technology we use, walk through a real-world scenario, and learn more about our policies, access controls, audits, and oversight. 

Three sessions are available: 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM. Each session is limited to 25 participants, so space is limited and advance registration is required.
