The Aloe Palm Canyon, an affordable housing project under construction at N. Palm Canyon Drive and Stevens Road, is now open. Initial applications for residency were due on MAY 18, 2025.

Some details:

• Located at 1479 N. Palm Canyon Drive, Aloe Palm Canyon will serve low-income seniors (age 55+ and up, incomes ranging from 0% to 80% Area Median Income (AMI).
• Aloe will restrict rents for 69 of the 71 units, which includes 25 Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) units.
• Supportive services provided in PSH units are what distinguish it from other types of affordable housing.
• The supportive services ensure housing stability and to maximize each tenant’s ability to live independently.
• Groundbreaking: October 2023.
